Who Am I?
Nice to meet you! My name is Josep and I am a software engineer from Indonesia. I currently reside in Tokyo, Japan.
I have been a software engineer for 4+ years and have worked in many kind of projects and companies, but I mostly work on web development. I love programming and have been ever since I started around my senior highschool years. I originally wanted to become a software engineer because my dad challenged me to make a game when I was a kid (because I used to play too many video games lol). I have always had a deep passion for technology and learning, and I used to love math a lot. So programming came naturally to me.
Although I am a software engineer, I am a programmer at heart. I also like to expand my horizons and learn new things, so after taking software engineering roles for years, I am currently working as a data engineer. In the future, I would like to try other programming-related roles as well, like game programming.
In my spare time, I play video games, read books (comics, sci-fi, fiction), build side projects, tinker with my homelab, or go out for ramen.
